I have 2 ecommerce Fractional CMO clients of mine that are on Shopify and publishing blog posts for SEO. The core functionality is there, and the Shopify App store does offer “plugins” which they call apps which let you do many things that a WordPress plugin does. The functionality is not as obvious, but the Shopify apps allow you to do a lot of cool things, so I urge you to look into it. I should write a blog post on Shopify apps for blogging, but this is the first time I actually have a Shopify-related post on my blog, so if this becomes popular I shall do so!

Also, when it is written by me I say so, but when it is written by a guest, their author bio us at the bottom of this blog post, as it is in this case.

I often find Shopify has quite a few issues out of the box. Would love to learn more about their content / blogging functionality one day as it’s always something that seems to be an afterthought for them (which is fair) :)

P.S. It would be cool to know the author of these :)
